I'll start by saying I think you're teachers lounge or office area could benefit from a Keurig. You know, the coffee machine that you pop the K-cup into and it makes a fresh cup just for you. The Keurig is an innovative take on the common coffee maker. No, this is not a sponsored post and the only benefit to students is that you'll have a quick and fresh cup of caffeine to help you face the day and therefore you're mood should be enhanced for the better.

Five months ago we invested in a Keurig for the office.  It's a product we love and it's not just for coffee lovers; there are cups for tea, hot cocoa and apple cider as well. It's totally convenient and there's no more having to deal with the social studies teacher brewing coffee that's unbearable. Everyone can bring their favorite brand and, if you prefer to grind your own or just save money, there's a reusable basket cup that you can use to brew your regular old coffee.

If you're looking for the "lesson" in all this, ask your students to list their favorite innovative products. Better yet, have them brainstorm and prototype their own ideas innovative products.
